Allow me to briefly introduce myself:
I am Annalise Russell and I write romance. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, romance. The stuff that makes the world go ’round. And what better way to begin each day, than with A Daily Dose of Romance.
To put us all on the same page, I’d like to announce that Kensington Publishing will release my first story titled IN HIS BED, in September ‘08 under the Aphrodisia line. IN HIS BED is part of an historical novella collection titled THE PLEASURE OF HIS BED. The other two stories in the collection are by Donna Grant and Melissa MacNeal.

Hi, Annalise!
Gee, if you can start a blog, I can at least join in on it, since you so nicely plugged our Aphrodisia anthology! I thought it was a real hoot that you and Donna had already sold your stories to this collection, when our editor invited me to join in–and called this a historical LOVE SLAVE antho (whether YOU knew that or not!) ; )
I’m getting ready to write my pages on that story (mine’s called “The Captain’s Courtesan”–pirate story set in 1717, with a cameo appearance by Blackbeard) and I’ll have you know that when I left off yesterday, our Captain (yeah, Clive Owen is gazing at me from my collage on the wall right now…) was cuffed and
manacled to his own bed–with the irons he’d recently taken off the heroine– because our heroine Sofia had worn him out from SO MUCH SEX!! I have no idea where this will lead in today’s pages, so I’d better get to writing them.
Do we have a great job, or what?! And, as you said, what better way to start any day than with a dose of romance!

Not even 6 am and I’m already getting my DDR (daily dose of, yup, umhmm, romance). Sun’s not even up and I’ve got rumpled beds and shackles, and gosh who knows what else
on the brain. This could get dangerous ladies!
